Interview with Diane McFarlin – Part II

On June 11, Diane McFarlin, JM 1976, was named the new dean of the UF College of Journalism and Communications. She will assume the position Jan. 1. Diane is the former publisher of the Herald-Tribune Media Group in Sarasota, one of the largest media companies in Florida and an industry leader in media convergence.

Please join Larry Vettel, TEL 1981, in the second of a three-part series, as he interviews Diane about the future of undergraduate and graduate education, the importance of research in the College’s mission and what it means to her as an alumna to be joining the College as its Dean.
