Huan Chen and Jeongmin Ham Selected to Serve on the Journal of Advertising Research Editorial Board

Two University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Advertising faculty members have been selected for the editorial board of the Journal of Advertising Research (JAR).

Huan Chen, professor and Advertising Department Chair, will serve as an associate editor and Assistant Professor Jeongmin Ham will serve on the editorial review board.

Huan’s research examines how AI, social media and culture shape, consumer behavior, digital marketing and persuasive communication. Ham’s research delves into new media advertising, human-computer interaction, media psychology and media effects.

The mission of JAR is to act as the research and development vehicle for professionals in all areas of marketing including media, research, advertising and communications. The quarterly publication is read by practitioners in the field and by students and faculty members at more than 5,000 universities in 127 countries.

Yang Feng, associate professor in artificial intelligence (AI), also currently serves as an associate editor.
