Nathan Carpenter and Jieun Shin partner to host virtual ICA Computation Methods Lab Showcase

Nathan Carpenter, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Atlas Lab director, and Jieun Shin, Media Production, Management, and Technology assistant professor, will host a virtual Computational Methods Lab Showcase for International Communication Association (ICA) members in the UFCJC Atlas Lab on Feb. 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Carpenter and Shin will be joined by Annie Waldherr from the University of Vienna Computational Communication Science Lab and Sofia Gil-Clavet from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Societal Analytics Lab to share practical experiences running successful labs, discuss technological requirements, team structures and financial considerations and answer questions about making computational methods more accessible.
