The goal of the panel, sponsored by UF’s One Health Student Association (OHSA), is to promote awareness of mass media effects on health and how to tackle the issue. Panelists will examine the interplay of individual characteristics, media content and the surrounding socio-cultural environment.

OHSA’s mission is to educate the community about one health, a field that recognizes the interdisciplinary connections between humans, animals, and the environment.
