
Yuan Nan
Ph.D.
Yuan Nan is a Ph.D. student and graduate assistant at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. Her research primarily focuses on children’s culture and media in the digital era, including the impact of social media, artificial intelligence, and virtual influencers.
Yuan obtained her first Ph.D. in Management and has published multiple academic works and presentations. She serves as a mentor in the International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL) Mentoring Programme (2024–present) and as a reviewer for journals such as the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics and Young Consumers.
From October 2023 to June 2025, she was a visiting scholar in the Department of English at the University of Florida, where she worked on cross-cultural studies of children’s literature. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked extensively in publishing as an editor and manager, leading children’s book production, marketing, and cross-cultural projects.
