Jonelle Henry, CJCxDC Program Director and Lecturer

Jonelle Henry is a veteran cable news political producer, entrepreneur, and UFCJC Telecommunication alumna who spent nearly two decades at C-SPAN covering the White House, Congress, and major national campaigns. 

As the program’s inaugural Director and Lecturer, Jonelle brings a rare combination of classroom experience, entrepreneurial instinct, and industry expertise to every aspect of CJCxDC. She designed the curriculum from the ground up, curates site visits, and draws on a DC professional network built over a career at the highest levels of political media and brings a practitioner’s perspective to everything she teaches.

Stevencia “Stevie” Estime, Administrative Specialist II

Stevie provides administrative and programmatic support to the program director, coordinating events, communications, and stakeholder engagement while helping students navigate their DC experience. She is a CJC graduate with a B.S. in Media Production, Management, and Technology from the University of Florida.

NaviGators enhances your CJCxDC experience by providing ongoing, personalized support throughout the semester. While CJCxDC gives you access to the city, the industry, and a network of professionals, your NaviGator offers something different: a trusted advisor who can help you balance personal and professional life, offer advice and guidance when you need it, and celebrate your wins along the way. This relationship is mutually beneficial—mentors and mentees learn and grow together, sharing insights, perspectives, and experiences that enrich both sides of the partnership.
