CJC is coming to Washington, D.C.

With this brand-new opportunity, the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications is bringing our signature immersive learning approach to Washington, D.C. Our “teaching hospital” method of communication education bridges research-based curriculum with the student experience in real-world environments. CJCxDC extends this model from the university campus directly into Washington, D.C.

CJCxDC puts you at the center of action in our nation’s capital! Students will get hands-on experience in the city where headlines happen. This exciting new program connects you with opportunities in media, public affairs, advocacy, public relations, and political communication — all while you live and work in the District. You’ll build your network, develop specialized skills, and experience firsthand how media and communication shape national conversations.

CJCxDC blends professional experiences with the city’s dynamic political and international landscape to allow students to learn, work and live in a top media and communications market.
