Santiago Kember and Mariano German Coley to serve on prestigious advertising awards juries

University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Advertising Lecturer Santiago Kember will serve as a judge for the 2026 Hispanic Marketing Council (HMC) Strategic Excellence Awards and UFCJC Advertising Lecturer in Creative Mariano German Coley, has been selected once again to be an international jury member for The AdForum PHNX Festival 2026.

Kember, the only academic to serve on any of the HMC juries, will be one of three judges on the Mainstream Impact jury. The awards are the only competition that honor Hispanic/multicultural strategic thinking and cultural competence in marketing and campaigns that connect with today’s dynamic consumers.

German Coley will judge The AdForum PHNX Awards for the third consecutive year. The awards were created in 2020 to celebrate a diverse range of skills and outstanding ideas from creative talents. The competition is open to advertising and public relations agencies, film production companies, media agencies, design studios, photographers, freelancers and advertisers worldwide. Judges choose gold, silver and bronze winners, as well as six Grand Prix awards to be announced at an online celebration on May 14.
