Huan Chen and Roxane Coche Selected for UF Advanced Leadership for Academics and Professionals Program

Two University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) faculty have been selected for the 2025-2026 UF Advanced Leadership for Academics and Professionals  cohort. The program offers the opportunity for participants to develop leadership competencies that are crucial for success at UF.

Advertising Associate Professor and Department Chair Huan Chen and Media Production, Management, and Technology Associate Professor and Department Chair Roxane Coche, will be two of the 12 academic track members.

Highlights of the program include an individual 360-degree assessment for personalized development, speakers from UF and other institutions aligned with program competencies, leadership challenges presented as academic and professional case studies and the opportunity for job shadowing with a UF leader.

The 2025-2026 program will run from Aug. 26 through May 7.
