Two University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) faculty members have been selected for the UF International Center 2026 Global Fellows Program (GFP). Media Production, Management, and Technology Assistant Professor Eugy Han and Advertising Assistant Professor Won-Ki Moon will receive funding to lay the groundwork for conducting international research.
Each will receive a $5,000 grant that can be used to cover travel expenses to collect field data, meet with international scholars, access resources not available at UF and to support any activity that advances research abroad. In addition, their faculty mentors will receive $1,000.
Program requirements include developing an international research project suitable for submission for external funding, attending the orientation session, participating in the Global Fellows Workshop Series and completion of an international research trip.
Han and Moon will be recognized at the International Education Week (IEW) Reception and Awards Ceremony on Nov. 17, 2025, at the UF Keene Faculty Center.
