Mark Rottensteiner Named Interim Director of The Agency at UF
Mark Rottensteiner, B.S. Public Relations 2018, is the new Interim Director of The Agency in the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) where he will provide leadership and strategic oversight of operations.
In this role, Rottensteiner will manage all aspects of the Agency’s activities, programmatic initiatives, budget and resource management and policy implementation. He will also continue to drive client relationships, business operations, and long-term strategy across the five Agency departments with more than 170 student employees.
Since joining The Agency in 2017, he has served as the managing director and accounts director. He has been instrumental in transforming the organization into a nationally recognized leader in brand strategy, Gen Z insights and marketing talent resourcing. During that time, The Agency has doubled profits, achieved sustained year-over-year revenue growth, and expanded its client partnerships and service offerings.
Laurent Burman, former consulting executive director of The Agency, will remain engaged as Director of Client Relations. He will focus on sustaining stakeholder relationships, cultivating partnerships, engaging in university leadership and donors, securing high-value clients, and providing quarterly business development reports.
