Marcia DiStaso, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Public Relations (PR) Department professor and chair, and Mark Weiner, UFCJC PR Advisory Council member, have been named to the 2022 PR Daily Editorial Advisory Board. The board consists of 13 industry insiders who will guide PR Daily coverage and programming throughout the year.

DiStaso is the 2021 Institute for Public Relations (IPR) Pathfinder Award winner for lifetime achievement in public relations research. In 2019, she won the PRNEWS Educator of the Year Award and was elected to the PR Measurement Hall of Fame. In 2016, she won the Public Relations Society of America Educator of the Year Award. She is an IPR trustee, a member of The Arthur Page Society and a past board member of the Global Alliance.

Weiner has three decades of communications analytics and advisory services experience. He recently joined PublicRelay as chief insights officer. In this newly created position, he is responsible for enhancing and growing the company’s insights and consulting practice and accelerating delivery of advanced, data-informed analysis, insights and guidance.
