John Solet
Outreach Coordinator - Professional Advising and Teaching Hub
Solet brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education, student services and community engagement. He most recently served as a Career & Technical Specialist and Recruiting Coordinator at Pensacola State College, where he built partnerships and supported student success initiatives. Earlier in his career, he served as a Dean of Students in New Orleans public charter schools and as a Dropout Prevention Specialist in Terrebonne Parish Schools, where he focused on reducing dropout rates among Native American students through culturally responsive programming.
In addition to his leadership in education, Solet has an extensive background in athletics, serving as a collegiate cheerleading coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, and McNeese State University, as well as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Arizona. .
