Seungahn Nah to Speak at 2025 Korean Press Foundation Journalism Conference
Seungahn Nah, Dianne Snedaker Chair in Media Trust and research director for the Consortium on Trust in Media and Technology at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC), will be a speaker at the 2025 Korean Press Foundation (KPF) Journalism Conference in the KPF International Conference Hall on Oct. 30 in Seoul, Korea.
Nah will speak on “Utilizing AI Technologies for Healthy Journalism.” Additional speakers on the topic include Ippen Digital Chief Technology Officer Markus Frank, Korea University Graduate School of Media Professor Kyongdal Kim and Dong-A llbo business strategist Mia Kim.
The KPF is a South Korean public institution established to manage the challenges facing the journalism and media industries. Its mission is to support the press by providing training for journalists and teachers, conducting research and helping media organizations adapt to new technologies through initiatives like news databases and digital infrastructure support.
Nah’s scholarship centers on the interrelationships among communication, community and democracy with special emphasis on the roles of digital communication technologies, including AI-enabled technologies, and media credibility in community and democratic processes and outcomes.
