Mark Rottensteiner Selected to Serve as a Judge for the 2025 Global Undergraduate Awards
Mark Rottensteiner, accounts director at The Agency, the advertising and marketing agency at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC), has been invited to serve as a judge for The Global Undergraduate Awards. The contest is the world’s largest academic awards program recognizing exceptional undergraduate research and writing across disciplines and countries.
Rottensteiner will evaluate undergraduate submissions in the Mass Communication category, one of 25 categories in the competition. In this role, he will help identify the most promising voices and contribute to a growing legacy of thought leadership in the discipline. The judging process, from June until September 2025, will determine three award distinctions in each category: Commended Entrants, a Regional Winner and one global winner.
He was selected as a judge based on his work in the private sector and his leadership experience at The Agency.
Previous winning submissions include advancements in journalism and new media practices, professional writing for public relations and contemporary issues in marketing, solutions for geopolitical issues in the field, technological innovation and publication of new mass communication that reflects the current world view.
