University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Public Relations Chair Marcia DiStaso published a study summary on the Institute for Public Relations website on July 18. The study presentation was made at the 2017 International PR Research Conference.

“Trends in Purpose: How Companies Are Changing the World by Doing Good” focuses on a survey  DiStaso conducted with Arthur W. Society members to see why their companies exist, if they have a social purpose, and the trends that are present in different types of companies. Her results show that any kind of company can lead with purpose if management and employees are willing to commit to the cause.
