Jason Klaer

Jason Klaer was born in Palos Hills, Illinois. Shortly after enrolling in Oak Lawn Community High School, he became enamored with journalism, specifically sports writing. For his senior year, Klaer became the sports editor of the Spart-a-nite. Flash forward three years and he has become the sports editor of the student news paper and well as a co-sports director gig at 103.3 WZND. Upon graduating from Illinois State University, Klaer took a marketing and promotions position at CBS Radio Chicago. Although the work can be boring, it’s a great networking opportunity. Fast forward 1.5 years and Klaer is producing the morning newscast in South Bend, Indiana at ABC 57. Last but certainly not least would be my time as a Public Affairs Mass Communication Specialist. The position brought me to two different continents, four countries and a million memories.
