Goodness Godwin-Usoro
Ph.D. Student
Goodness Godwin‑Usoro is a communications professional from Nigeria and a current Ph.D. student in Mass Communication at the University of Florida. She earned her M.A. in Mass Communication from University of Florida, following a B.A. in Mass Communication from Redeemer’s University.
Her professional experience spans the educational, nonprofit, governmental and advertising sectors. Before graduate school, she served as the Senior Marketing & Communications Officer at Junior Achievement Nigeria, where she supported and led digital campaigns, advocacy programs and stakeholder engagement initiatives for youth development.
At the University of Florida, Goodness works as both a Teaching Assistant; supporting undergraduate advertising courses and as a Research Assistant, contributing to scholarly projects in health communication, media psychology and emerging technology.
Her research interests are at the intersection of influencer culture, health communication, emerging technology and media psychology.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, watching movies, reading and writing.
