Dr. Cloe Zeidan serves as the Research and International Initiatives Coordinator at the College of Journalism and Communications (CJC), where she leads efforts to advance global engagement and collaborative research. In this role, she organizes and program-manages interdisciplinary research projects, develops policies, guides and resources to support international partnerships, and facilitates opportunities for faculty, students, and visiting scholars to connect across borders. Her work includes coordinating strategic initiatives, hosting international delegations, and creating tools that streamline study abroad programs, visiting scholar processes, and global research collaborations. Through these efforts, Cloe helps position CJC as a hub for innovation and internationalization, fostering meaningful academic exchange and global dialogue.
During her graduate studies, she researched adult language acquisition and cognitive processes, while also serving as a course instructor in the Department of Linguistics at UF. Her international experience also includes teaching English to second-language learners abroad, further enriching her expertise in language education and cross-cultural communication.
