Five CJCxNYC Students Chosen for IRTS Foundation Future Media Leaders Career Workshop
Five University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) CJCxNYC immersion program students were chosen to participate in the International Radio & Television Society (IRTS) Foundation Future Media Leaders Career Workshop in New York City on Nov. 6-7, 2025.
In the free career workshop, Advertising seniors Tiffany Fang and Reagan DiRenzo, Journalism senior Tanya Fedak, Public Relations senior Desiree Waters and Media Production, Management, and Technology junior Kevin Gonzalez will have the opportunity to interface with top media companies, gain industry insights and learn about exciting career opportunities.
The IRTS Foundation has the reputation of being one of the best support systems for students and recent graduates that want to jump start their careers in media. For over 40 years, the IRTS has hosted the free in-person workshop. The 2025 edition will focus on executive leadership, business building, content creation and advice on how to make a good first impression and get started on a career path.
CJCxNYC is an immersion program that blends professional experiences with the city’s culture and energy to give students the opportunity to learn, work, explore and live in one of the most important media and communication hubs in the nation.
