Bio

Julia Seay has over six years of University of Florida human resources experience including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, payroll, and database management.

Previously, Seay was at the UF Department of Housing and Residence Education where she led several HR initiatives including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), worker’s compensation and payroll.  She specializes in employee onboarding, training/organizational development, workforce data analysis, and employment records management.

Before working at UF, she earned a B.S. in Event Management from the University of Central Florida.  Seay is a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SCP) and a volunteer for the University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) Florida board.
