Advertising alumna chosen for 2026 AAF Most Promising Multicultural Students Program
University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) alumna Lorena Bacallao, B.S. Advertising 2025, is one of 25 selected for the 2026 American Advertising Federation (AAF) Most Promising Multicultural Students Program in New York City from Feb. 24-27.
Since 1997, the Most Promising Students Program has connected college students with leaders from the advertising, media and marketing industries. Through mentorship, hands-on experiences and networking opportunities, students gain critical insights into the advertising world that allow them to build relationships with industry professionals. They gain real-world exposure and can showcase their talent in front of top-tier companies.
Students will participate in a four-day industry immersion program that will include professional development and personal branding workshops, the Building Bridges for Our Future Awards Ceremony and Luncheon and Recruiter’s Expo.
The 2026 program gives advertising, media, communications and tech companies the opportunity to tap into the high-achieving talent of 25 diverse college students from 19 schools across the U.S.
