UFCJC Journalism Senior Awarded NABJ Dwight Lauderdale Scholarship
Lee Ann Anderson, a University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Journalism senior, is the recipient of the South Florida National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Dwight Lauderdale Scholarship.
The scholarship was developed to encourage and support college students as they study to become journalists.
Anderson was recognized for her outstanding academic and leadership achievements at UF and her commitment to studying journalism. She will receive a grant of $3,000.
She has worked as reporter for WUFT News and Fresh Take Florida and as a news fellow at News21.
