Mindy McAdams, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Journalism professor and Knight Chair in Journalism Technologies and the Democratic Process, was the speaker for “Implementation of Data Journalism Curriculum in the Classroom” a virtual workshop organized by Journocoders Indonesia for 32 journalism lecturers in Indonesia on March 27.

The presentation was part of a series of workshops, funded by the U.S. Department of State, introducing data journalism to communication/journalism lecturers in Indonesia. McAdams was invited to speak by Dr. Yearry Panji Setianto, a professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Banten, Indonesia.
