Loan Repayment Assistance Program
The University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications is proud to be a partner in the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) network, piloted by Columbia Journalism School.
The program – the first of its kind in the journalism industry – helps eligible journalism school graduates reduce their student loan debt while pursuing careers in public-interest journalism.
Recent graduates working full-time in a U.S. local newsroom may receive up to $10,000 per year to pay toward their student loans.
LRAP expansion has been made possible through a transformative $3 million gift from the Knight Foundation.
