Spend 10 weeks immersed in media and communications in New York City, network with leading communicators and gain first-hand experience while you work on creative projects. Industry leaders and alumni will share their perspectives, feedback and support throughout the course.

- Professional Leadership Preparation with Prof. Dan Yesenosky (3 credits)
- Internship highly encouraged or online courses to round out your schedule
Eligibility
- In good standing with the university; no honor code or conduct violations
- Departmental approval upon acceptance
- Prerequisite: One of the following with a C or better: PUR3000, ADV3008, RTV2100 or JOU3101.
- CJC junior or senior standing (minimum of 60 credits complete). Graduation year: Fall 2026, Spring/Summer/Fall 2027, Spring/Summer 2028
- Ideal applicants would be eligible to complete an internship in their respective majors.
- Departmental approval upon acceptance.

Your Commitment to the Program
Participating in CJCxNYC requires several significant commitments. Consider if you will be able to meet the following requirements before submitting an application.
- Enroll in the designated elective courses and commit for the duration of the program.
- Comply with all health and safety rules established by any organizations we visit through the program.
- For Immersive Fall: Enroll in only online courses for the fall semester.
- Attend all required pre-program meetings.
