The Alligator’s Where We Stand Environmental Event
Join The Alligator as it launches a special edition asking questions about and seeking solutions for climate change in the UF, Gainesville and Alachua County communities.
At the Gannett Auditorium April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m., the paper will gather community leaders for a panel discussion about the future of the environment and climate mitigation strategies. The panel will consist of Florida author and UF Environmental Journalist in Residence Cynthia Barnett, Gainesville Mayor Harvey Ward, Cultural Arts Coalition Executive Director NKwanda Jah and UF Sustainability Office Director Matthew Williams.
