Kimberly Dukes Receives 2025 UF Excellence in Graduate Program Support Award
Kimberly Dukes, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Division of Graduate Studies Academic Support Service director, is the recipient of the 2025 UF Graduate School Excellence in Graduate Program Support Award.
The recognizes outstanding contributions by a staff member who provides exceptional support for graduate education. This award highlights individuals who demonstrate excellence in service, collaboration, and innovation, fostering a welcoming environment for graduate students.
In her role at UFCJC, Dukes guides students and faculty through key academic milestones. She has created comprehensive training resources, implemented systems to track student progress and introduced early intervention strategies to support students who may be at risk. These initiatives have strengthened the College’s support infrastructure and led to improved outcomes for graduate students.
The honor was presented at a ceremony on April 9 at UF Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Champions Club. She also received a monetary award of $2,000.
