The Global Gators Connect Program matches the Class of 2028 newly admitted international students (called “Future Gators”) with current students (called “Ambassadors”). The Ambassadors will help answer any questions Future Gators may have about life at UF! The program aims to create ambassadorship, companionship, and friendship.

We’re looking for current students to be our Ambassadors! 

Program Requirements:

•  Attendance to Virtual Orientation
•  At least 1 (virtual) meeting with your assigned Future Gator
•  At least 1 follow-up email/text based on your meeting

Benefits:

•  Certificate of Participation
•  Appreciation Event
•  Letter of Recommendation from UF Department of International Admissions (upon request)
•  Community Service Hours (based on level of participation)
•  Meaningful friendships!
