La Jolla Mom sees the value in digital journalism and would like to support students who may be pursuing a similar career path.

Scholarship Name: La Jolla Mom Communications Scholarship

Eligibility: Undergraduate applicants must be majoring in a communications field of study and attend or be planning to attend an accredited college or university during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Amount: One student will be selected to receive $500 in scholarship funds based on their essay response (maximum of 1000 words) to why they are interested in pursuing a career in the communications field. Scholarship funds must be used to pay for qualified expenses, including tuition, books and on-campus room and board for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Application Deadline: The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2022. The recipient will be notified individually by April 15, 2022.
