Ten CJC Graduate Students Receive UF International Center Certificate of Outstanding Achievement

Ten University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications graduate students are the recipients of the Certificate of Outstanding Achievement from UF’s International Center.

The Certificate of Outstanding Achievement recognizes the exceptional contributions of international students to UF. During the selection process, colleges consider not just academic achievements but also other ways in which these students have distinguished themselves, made a substantial impact, and contributed to UF’s international profile and engagement.

The 2021 recipients include doctoral students Diliara Bagautdinova, Fnu Bhakti, Hyesoo Chang, Xiaobei Chen, Diane Ezeh Aruah, Jie Jin, Mercy Madu, Heidi Makady, Sasha Matar and master’s student Daniel Kure.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony during UF International Education Week on Nov. 16.
