The ABA is pleased to announce our application period is now open for the 2020 ABA scholarships. The ABA Scholarship was developed to support sophomore, junior, or senior students who have demonstrated academic merit, leadership skills, involvement in the University or Gainesville community, and involvement with the University’s Department of Black Affairs. The recipients will be chosen by a selection committee formed by the Association of Black Alumni. This year, the ABA will award (4) four $1,000 scholarships during the virtual Black Alumni Weekend Reunion Weekend in early October 2020.

In keeping with the nationwide mandates on social distancing, the scholarship package, and supporting documents can be safely submitted electronically as a pdf, via email to abaufscholarship@gmail.com by Friday, September 18, 2020, by 11:59 p.m.
