Words on Canvas: the Harn Museum’s Spring 2020 Writing Competition
Would you like a chance to have your poetry or prose featured in the Harn Museum of Art? Here’s your opportunity to write yourself into the museum!
Words on Canvas is an annual writing competition open to all UF and SFC students who find inspiration in art. Writers will choose one of 28 artworks and submit a poem or prose piece inspired by it. Winning submissions will then be featured in the Harn’s Words on Canvas booklet and will garner prizes from the Harn gift shop! The program is supported by UF Honors Program.
Further details on the competition including rules, guidelines, and the featured artworks can be found here: http://harn.ufl.edu/woc-submission
Previous year’s winning submissions can be found here: http://harn.ufl.edu/wordsoncanvas
