Ph.D. Student Takes the Plunge to Promote a New “Water Ethic”

University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Ph.D. candidate Jenny Adler is profiled in “Meet the Woman Who Dives in Our Drinking Water” published in the April 2017 edition of National Geographic magazine.

Adler, a National Graphic Young Explorer, seeks to promote a new “water ethic” emphasizing the various sources and use of water from the Floridian aquifer. She shares her experiences with nearby schools via photos, videos and a 360-degree underwater tour. Her efforts help children understand water and the importance of conservation.
