UF CJC Alumni Douglas Boneparth Recognized in InvestmentNews’ 40 Under 40

Douglas Boneparth, B.S. Public Relations 2007, was selected as one of InvestmentNews’ 40 Under 40 honoring young talent doing remarkable things in the financial advice industry. Approximately 1,200 nominations of advisors and associated professionals were evaluated on accomplishments to date, contributions to the industry, leadership and promise.
From InvestmentNews: “Douglas Boneparth has embraced a personal mission of being all about millennials, which goes well beyond just working with younger clients and helping them gain some kind of financial independence. Mr. Boneparth believes if the financial services industry doesn’t radically alter its old-school model of recruitment and training, it will come dangerously close to missing an entire generation of future financial advisers.”Boneparth, a partner in Longwave Financial, is one of 50 CFP Board Ambassadors charged with educating both the public and the media about financial planning. Boneparth also volunteers with both the Financial Planning Association’s New York chapter and The New York Public Library to provide financial education seminars. Currently he is working on a book along with his wife on “how my generation became so financially illiterate.”
