Nick Zaccardi

Nick is a former SI.com writer and joined the NBC Sports Group and NBCOlympics.com as the lead writer for OlympicTalk in advance of the site’s coverage of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. OlympicTalk is an extension of NBCSports.com’s SportsTalk strategy, which provides quick, frequently-updated news and information with a unique perspective.

Zaccardi’s Olympic expertise includes covering two Olympic Games as well as time spent with the United States Olympics Committee. He wrote extensive pieces for Sports Illustrated’s SI.com leading into the London Olympic Games, including connecting with the then-most decorated Olympian of all time, former Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina.

Zaccardi has worked with SI.com, MLB.com, and PGATour.com. He has also covered college football and basketball national championship teams, the NHL Winter Classic, the Kentucky Derby, a Champions League final and Grand Slam tennis.
