STCC and CTSI Announce Intramural Award Application Dates

The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications’ STEM Translational Communication Center (STCC) and the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute announced application dates for their 2018 Translational Communication Research Pilot Project Awards to support the growth of interdisciplinary and investigator-initiated translational communication research across the University’s range of scientific disciplines.

The request for applications (RFA) for this intramural award supports original research on the design, dissemination, or evaluation of translational communication efforts. Translational communication is defined as strategically adapting information to improve accessibility, comprehension, and usability by the intended audience to improve human health and well-being.

Following is the awards timeline:

  • Letter of Intent Deadline: March 26, 2018
  • Application Deadline: April 9, 2018 by 5 p.m.
  • Notice of Awards by April 30, 2018
  • Award Funding Period: May 7, 2018 – May 7, 2019

Please submit a letter of intent to lyllyr@jou.ufl.edu by March 26, 2018.
