ALEX (Agent Leveraging Empathy for eXams) is a mobile application developed through support of an R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute (R01CA207689) to promote colorectal cancer (CRC) screening among racial/ethnic minority, Spanish-language preference, and rural patients.
In recognition of our work to increase colorectal cancer screenings among underserved populations across the United States and deliver health education and health behavior change, we are proud to have received the “Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) 2020 Technology Award”.
