Trellis brings more than 20 years of managerial experience in both educational and corporate settings. She comes to us by way of the Enrollment Management Division here at UF where she served as both a Coordinator for Student Financial Aid and Scholarships and an Advisor in the newly formed OneStop. Trellis is a servant leader who works with nonprofit organizations and small businesses as a management consultant and change agent. A lover of STEAM; she holds bachelor’s degrees in General Science and Mathematics from Johnson C. Smith University, where she presented research at The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS).  She also holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethune-Cookman University, where she worked as a full-time professor teaching Leadership and Professional Development, Introduction to Business and Freshman Seminar and served as the Program Manager in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship. When not working to connect students to resources she can be found serving her community with various organizations including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
