Bio

Hometown: Jining, China

April is a first-year doctoral student at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. April’s research interest focuses on strategic public relations management, corporate social responsibility, and employee relations. As a graduate instructor, she has taught Fundamentals of Speech Communications and Interviewing: Principles and Practice. April’s professional experience also included interning at Ruder Finn Beijing and a Chinese newspaper agency. April is a diehard fan of the show “Twin Peaks” as well as the director David Lynch.

April’s research interest focuses on strategic public relations management, corporate social responsibility, and employee relations.

Courses

April expects to teach in a research university after graduation. April’s teaching interests include but not limited to public relations courses and research methodology courses. As a graduate instructor, April has taught Fundamentals of Speech Communications and Interviewing: Principles and Practice for two and a half years at Purdue University.
