Ring of Honor 2026
Jennifer Adams is Vice President of CNN Sports in Atlanta, where she leads the team responsible for delivering the world’s most significant sports moments to a global audience. Over 28 years at CNN, she has held senior editorial and leadership roles across both news and sports, helping shape coverage of major international events including the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and the FIFA World Cup. Known for her steady leadership in a 24/7 news environment, Adams oversees daily newsgathering and show production while collaborating closely with digital, sales, marketing, and technical teams to produce content that informs, engages, and inspires.
Prior to leading CNN Sports, Adams served as an Executive Producer for CNN and HLN, overseeing coverage of breaking news, presidential elections, historic cultural moments, global conflicts, and natural disasters. She began her career at CNN in an entry-level production role in 1998 and has since logged thousands of hours in newsrooms and control rooms at the network.
A proud University of Florida alumna, Adams graduated from the College of Journalism and Communications, where she gained hands-on experience both in the classroom and while working at WUFT, WRUF, and Rock 104. A lifelong Gator, she has served three terms on the UFAA Board of Directors and currently serves on Dean Hub Brown’s Leadership Council. In 2025, she fulfilled a dream by covering the Florida Gators’ NCAA Men’s National Championship.
Adams is a dedicated mother of two student-athletes at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, navigating a particularly busy season with a senior, Tate, and a freshman, Rowan. She loves to travel, though leaving her Goldendoodle, Nox, is always the hardest goodbye! Her fondest college memories include Saturdays in the Swamp, sisterhood in Alpha Delta Pi, and dancing for a cause through UF Dance Marathon. Adams is thankful for the unwavering support of her husband of 20 years, Bo—despite his unfortunate loyalty to the Tennessee Vols.
