There will be a special screening of Roxane Coche’s documentary “Once More at the River: From MLK to BLM”, part of a multimedia project featuring 20 Memphis activists and officials reflecting on the past fifty years in Memphis, and discussing the impact of both activism and the city’s history on the lives of African Americans today.

Roxane, UF CJC assistant professor,  was creator, producer and faculty leader on the multimedia project and directed and co-produced the documentary with former University of Memphis colleague Joe Hayden and a Memphis undergraduate.
