September 18, 2018
Pugh Hall
6 p.m.

Can bold stands be smart business? At Patagonia, working to defend the environment and fight climate change is not just a marketing strategy for its wilds-loving customers, but part of the company’s core work. Using business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis is written into the company’s mission. On Tuesday night, September 18th, join Patagonia’s Chris Gaggia, Global Marketing Manager for Field & Fish, at 6 p.m. at MacKay Auditorium in the University of Florida’s Pugh Hall for a special conversation on corporate environmental leadership in a warming world. Environmental Journalist in Residence Cynthia Barnett will interview Gaggia on stage. Sponsored by UF’s Graham Center for Public Service, Poe Center for Ethics, College of Journalism and Communications and IFAS, the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
