Last June, CJC held a series of “listening sessions” with students, providing youwith a forum to share how you were feeling following the murder of George Floydand subsequent protests and racial unrest.
Students expressed a desire for ongoing discussions about race and equityas well as what’s happening at the college and on campus. We heard you.
Next week, we will hold a series of interactive town hall meetings — led by CJC students, faculty and staff — to drill deeper into issues at the College, UF, and the worldaround us, and to conceive our next steps forward. Here’s your chance to share thoughts, experiences and feedback.
Join us in the conversation.
Each session will be held via Zoom from 6-7 p.m. Check your UF e-mail for registration information.
