Jeff Darlington

Jeff recently joined ESPN as reporter for SportsCenter and across their media platforms.

Previously, he was a reporter for NFL Media, providing news and analysis about the latest events around the league. With the NFL Network, Darlington covered 10 Super Bowls and more than 200 NFL games.

Before joining NFL Media, he spent six seasons at the Miami Herald covering the Dolphins. He also has reported for multiple other Florida newspapers, including the Orlando Sentinel, the St. Petersburg Times and the Palm Beach Post. In 2010, he was named South Florida’s “Best Sports Writer.”

Darlington has covered sports in Florida – including college football and the NFL – since 2000. Before covering the NFL and the Dolphins, he wrote about football and basketball programs at UF for the Orlando Sentinel. Darlington also had a cameo role appearing with Kevin Costner in the movie Draft Day.
