The Integrated Digital Specialist is the digital marketing services sales lead.
As a member of the Nexstar digital sales team at WCBD-TV in Charleston, SC, the Integrated Digital Specialist (IDS) is responsible for generating & growing digital marketing service revenue for the company. The IDS will be the market’s subject matter expert on digital services & will work, both independently & in conjunction with the Nexstar sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the digital marketing services area. The IDS will achieve this by professionally & effectively selling Nexstar’s Digital suite of digital marketing services/products (including OTT, social media, YouTube, targeted video, display, SEO/SEM, & local website sponsorships) with the objective of advancing client’s key performance indicators.
Digital marketing services sales lead & subject matter expert in your market
Generate new digital business and grow existing clients
Develop & execute sales strategies/tactics that result in exceeding personal & company revenue targeted budgets.
Generate new digital marketing business & grow existing clients
Be an effective educator & ambassador both internally & externally on the benefits of digital marketing for clients
Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends). Assist with training sales team on digital marketing services
Conduct educational forums and/or seminars for clients
Be an effective partner with the market’s sales team in generating digital revenue
Consistently communicate with clients on creative and campaign analytics
Effective in “four-legged” call situations at which you may be presenting digital based marketing strategies
Software: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ability to become proficient on in-house sales and support systems. Google Certification preferred.
Education: BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred. 1+ years digital marketing/media sales preferred. Significant knowledge of digital marketing services product offering & how they can be effective for clients. Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter able to work effectively both independently & collaborating in a team environment Effective communication/client presentation skills Ability to interact with high-level decision makers Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration & a consultative process Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills/attention to detail Proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals Up to date on latest trends in digital marketing service industry Resourceful, self-motivated & a skillful multi-tasker Ability to manage account receivables for your book of business Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word & ability to become proficient on in-house sales systems.
