WTOC 11 is a Gray television-owned CBS affiliate in Savannah, Georgia and the number one station in the market which includes twenty counties in South Georgia's Coastal Empire and three counties in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative, enthusiastic individual who can conceptualize, write, produce, direct and edit commercials and promos. Must be an idea-generator and able to collaborate well with others, including clients, account executives and other creatives. Requires balancing multiple projects with competing deadlines. You must be a self-motivator and highly organized. This job requires hands-on production in every aspect: shooting, editing and graphics. This person will represent WTOC 11 and attend meetings with and without account executives and serve as the client's primary consultant on commercial production. The job may also include on-air promotion and other duties assigned by the Creative Director. If you are the person above and have a reel to prove it, we want to hear from you.
-Writing, Producing, Shooting and Editing Commercials
-Designing and Animating Graphics
-Collaborating with the Sales Department to develop revenue generating ideas
-Operating Live Camera for Special Events such as parades which will include limited weekend hours
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field; can be substituted for 5+ years experience in media marketing, advertising and promotion
-5+ years experience writing, producing, shooting, directing and editing video content
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Proficient with video and DLSR cameras and experience in editing software, such as the Adobe Creative Suite
-Able to shoot in a live broadcast setting
