UFCJC Online Master’s Adjunct Instructor authors book on the exclusive Presidential Service Badge

University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Online Master’s Adjunct Instructor Anthony Knopps is the author of the book The No-Fail Mission: The Men and Women Behind the Presidential Service Badge Volume II published on Sept. 15.

The book profiles 13 military men and women who served in the Office of the President and earned the Presidential Service Badge. It chronicles their “no-fail missions” that brought them face to face with history as it happened. From Eisenhower to Ford and beyond, the stories of these service members place you “in the room” during some of the most defining moments in America’s past.

The Presidential Service Badge is an exclusive honor given for meritorious service to the Office of the President. Recipients are allowed to wear the Presidential Seal on their dress uniforms.

The book also features a foreword from former President Bill Clinton and is an “officially licensed” product of the America 250 celebration.

Knopps is the author of nine books and also serves as a senior instructor in the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University and is an affiliate faculty member of GW’s Global Food Institute.
