Jessica Osegueda named new UFCJC Executive Events Director
Jessica Osegueda has been promoted to the position of Executive Events Director at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC).

Osegueda joined UFCJC in 2022 as events Manager and since then has elevated the event experience across the College. She has planned and executed more than 200 events to support everything from high-profile speakers and alumni gatherings to student programs and College-wide initiatives.
She also implemented an internal Events Outlook calendar, creating a more coordinated and transparent approach that helps faculty, staff and students stay connected to meetings, events and key activities happening across UFCJC and the broader University community.
In 2024, Osegueda was honored with the UFCJC Staff Superior Accomplishment Award and the UF Division Three Superior Accomplishment Award. She was also recognized with a quarterly CJC Standing Ovation Award, reflecting the appreciation and admiration of college colleagues.
Previously, she served as the sales manager for the World Equestrian Center in Ocala and lifestyle director at Trilogy at Ocala Preserve.
Osegueda has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Warner University in Lake Wales.
