UFCJC Public Relations senior inducted into prestigious 2026 UF Hall of Fame
University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Public Relations senior Gabriella Petillo will be inducted into the 2026 UF Hall of Fame, the highest recognition awarded to student leaders by the Division of Student Life, on April 15.
During her tenure at UF, Petillo has served in many campus leadership positions including Panhellenic Council President and Executive Board member, 2026 UF Dance Marathon Relations Overall Director, Florida Cicerone student ambassador, Reitz Scholars and Golden Gator Council. She was also initiated into the Order of Omega Honor Society and Florida Blue Key.
Established in 1921, the award honors graduating undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, scholarship and service through meaningful contributions to campus organizations, university initiatives and the broader community. Each year, the Hall of Fame is intentionally limited to no more than 25 students, making it one of the most selective and prestigious student honors at the University of Florida.
Petillo will graduate in May with bachelor’s degrees from both UFCJC and the UF College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
